About the event
Our course, Spirit Stories from the African Diaspora, is a vibrant journey for children to explore the rich tapestry of African and African-American spirituality through art. In this dynamic class, children will dive into the world of visual storytelling, music, and movement, awakening their creative spirits while connecting with ancestral wisdom. They'll learn about the Orisha, powerful deities and spirits, and how their stories have shaped cultural identities and spiritual practices across generations. Through creative expression, participants will craft their own narratives, drawing inspiration from the symbols, gods, and goddesses of the African diaspora.
